Why Shared Spaces was created
Shared Spaces Collective was born out of lived experience. Just like you may be living – our family home was built on a modern estate where the maintenance costs kept rising, they rarely matched what we were paying for, and communication felt one‑sided at best.

Estate management needs reform
Our story
We watched contractors appear without warning, disappear without explanation, and deliver work with no clear schedule or accountability. We were chased for payments we didn’t understand, given little transparency over how decisions were made, and offered no real say in how our shared spaces were cared for.
Most of all, we felt the same frustration many communities feel today: high costs, low control, and no meaningful support.
So we decided to change it.
Shared Spaces Collective was created to give people a voice, a structure, and a fairer way to manage the places they share. A model built on transparency, collaboration and accountability – not confusion, silence and spiralling fees.
We started this because we lived it. And we’re building something better because no community or property owner should have to go through the same.
How we operate
